Holiday Card Design

‘Tis the Season for gathering and gifting and gratitude and an annual Holiday Card. Above is the card I created and mailed out in 2015, an extension of my ongoing series of improvisational circle-based paintings, Swimming. For many days I painted circles with green and red in combination with secondary and tertiary colors. Eventually a small collection of 6 rose up from the dozens, and I combined them with their test paper to create the final card.
