artbar selects fotoplay
Many thanks to Bar Rucci for choosing Fotoplay as one of “the best drawing books that ignite creativity in the little ones.“ Bar Rucci is a graphic designer, creator of a custom card company, a mom, and the writer/curator behind the creative blog, ArtBar. I’m honored that she selected Fotoplay along with Marion Deuchar’s Fingerprint Book, Ed Emberley’s Drawing Book of Faces, and Chronicle Books’ 642 Things to Draw.
Bar writes: “As you can imagine, there are many books on drawing out there. I wanted to keep the list short and pick just the ones that I thought would instantly excite the kids, with very few directions and good graphics.“
About Fotoplay, Bar writes: “…It’s rare to find a book like this that uses photos as prompts to spark the imagination. It’s smart and funny and gets kids to think outside of the lines…”
