december fotoplay : gallery 1

This year, for my annual holiday card, I created a Fotoplay image (I took the original photograph in Hyde Park in London in 2008) and sent it out to people of all ages, all around the world. It’s been just over a week since I sent the cards out, but I’m already wowed by the responses I’ve received. This will be the first of many galleries that I’ll post on This Playground to showcase the work sent back to me. Without further ado, I present Gallery #1, the December Fotoplay cards created by those wonderful children at the Starrett Center:

Mikey, age four, worked near to Eliot. He worked for quite awhile on the front of his card:

and then later, revisited his work, and added new depth to the front, while incorporating the back:
